O It’s no mystery as to why this series died in the first place it had a massive identity crisis in the third entry (which was almost entirely at the fault of EA’s interference) which resulted in, what had already been lukewarm interest to the series up to this point, lower sales than expected. It’s been stated that when Dead Space 4 had been contemplated Ellie was possibly going to take over as the game’s lead, so it’s not exactly crazy to think this might happen.

I’m not exactly bothered by this, well, not for the reason of it being a woman, but a different reason. O In this day and age, it seems like more and more developers seem to be going in this direction The Last of Us, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Alien Isolation, etc.

I’m still finding it hard to believe that we might actually get a new entry to the series, if I’m being honest, I’d never been surer that a game series was done, so the idea that a new game might be happening is actually pretty surreal (I’m sure I’m not alone in this thought), but let’s get started.
